Hommage to Friendship (Saar and Claar)

Claartje and I met in 2014 in Milan. Back then we were making YouTube playlists which evolved into spotify playlists. We called them Saar and Claar playlists, and actually we started them a few months before my move to Amsterdam. She was in Amsterdam, I was in Beirut at the time.

Hommage to friendship is a representation of our friendship from Milan, Amstersam and Beirut and everywhere in-between

We perform together as a DJ duo ‘Saar and Claar’ as monthly residents at Radio Tempo Não Pára where we host the “Chill Out Room”. We blend sounds from genres like Belgian New Wave, IDM and New Age — walking the tightrope between listening music and dancing music.
